He advises on major development projects across the UK, specialising in strategic residential and commercial schemes. Mark is known for developing clear transport strategies for complex sites and leading negotiations with local authorities and National Highways.
With a long track record of successful projects, he provides strategic leadership to both clients and the business, helping shape developments that are deliverable, sustainable and commercially successful.
Melanie Dobson is an Associate based in the London office, with over 13 years’ experience in transport planning. She began her career at i‑Transport as a Graduate Transport Planner and has progressed through the business to her current role, building a broad and well‑rounded portfolio along the way. Melanie has worked on a wide range of projects, from small‑scale residential developments to major new settlements, as well as school expansions and health facilities. Her experience spans projects across the UK, with a particular focus on London and the South East. Known for her collaborative approach, Melanie works closely with project teams and stakeholders to deliver practical, well‑considered solutions to complex transport challenges.

Neil Marshall is a Chartered Transport Planner and qualified project manager with nearly 25 years’ experience delivering transport and development planning advice across London and the Home Counties. As a Partner jointly leading iTransport’s London office, he brings extensive expertise in the assessment of complex, constrained and strategically important sites, working with multidisciplinary teams for public and private sector clients. Neil has a strong track record in shaping masterplans for major residential, mixed-use, research, and healthcare developments, with a particular focus on promoting sustainable travel, resolving transport challenges, and securing positive outcomes at planning appeals and examinations. His work involves regular collaboration with local authorities, Transport for London, National Highways, and other key stakeholders, providing trusted, pragmatic, and solutions-driven advice that supports successful project delivery.
