Since graduating from university in 2021, Matt has developed experience across the transport sector including residential, retail, healthcare and employment projects. He has built strong technical skills in data analysis and junction modelling using Junctions 11 and LinSig, producing models ranging from simple priority T-junctions to complex motorway junctions.
Matt’s role involves the preparation of key technical documentation, such as Transport Assessments, Transport Statements, Travel Plans, Environmental Statements and Technical Notes for both local authorities and the general public. He is capable of managing input to large, multi-disciplinary projects, working closely with stakeholders, clients, and project teams. This has strengthened his overall communication and project management skills, contributing positively to successful planning approvals and the delivery of sustainable development outcomes.

With over 30 years’ experience, Steve has led the transport planning and technical delivery of major residential, commercial and infrastructure projects across the UK. He regularly acts for clients on a range of major development proposals, overseeing technical strategy, stakeholder engagement and planning submissions, and has extensive experience as an expert witness at planning inquiries and Examinations in Public. His portfolio includes large‑scale mixed‑use developments, strategic housing sites, motorway service areas and major employment schemes for leading national developers, housebuilders and landowners.
