Senior Consultant
Simon is a Senior Consultant in the Basingstoke office, joining iTransport in 2022 as a graduate. Simon has worked for the last four years on a wide range of projects, including small-scale residential schemes to major data centre applications.
Simon’s core expertise is in the preparation of Transport Statements / Transport Assessments, alongside undertaking junction capacity assessments to inform development feasibility and mitigation strategies. Simon also works closely with clients, local highway authorities and projects to provide specialist advice through the planning process.

Simon is a Specialist Consultant and founder of iTransport, with over 40 years’ experience in transport planning and infrastructure. He provides strategic advice to clients at a senior level, supporting planning applications and land promotion to unlock development value. His experience spans major mixed-use, retail, industrial and leisure schemes across the UK and internationally.
A highly experienced expert witness, Simon has supported numerous public inquiries, bringing clear, authoritative insight to complex transport and infrastructure matters.

Leanne joined iTransport in 2023 and supports our Accounts team as an Accounts Assistant.

Alana is a consultant at iTransport based in the basingstoke office. Since joining as a graduate in 2024, Alana has supported projects at all stages of the planning process from initial appraisal to submission, sometimes with continued involvement as travel plan coordinator. Alana has already worked on a range of schemes, from small scale residential to strategic mixed-use sites.

Ben is a Partner with over 25 years’ experience in transport planning, working across both public and private sector projects. A Chartered Transport Planning Professional and Fellow of CIHT, he brings deep technical expertise and strategic insight to complex development schemes. He specialises in assessing transport impacts, preparing transport strategies and supporting environmental assessments across a wide range of sectors. Ben works closely with local authorities, National Highways and stakeholders, and regularly acts as an expert witness at planning inquiries.

Stephen is an Associate Partner with over 10 years’ experience in transport planning, having joined iTransport as a graduate. Based in Basingstoke, he supports projects across a wide range of sectors, from residential schemes to complex strategic developments.
He provides advice across all stages of the planning process, from early appraisal through to submission, determination and post-consent implementation. Stephen works closely with clients and local authorities, helping to navigate requirements and keep projects progressing.
